Education is a long term investment for better future and living.As such parents should focus on education of their children.This was viewed by Additional District Collector(ADC), South Raj Kumar Yadav during the concluding of three day PIC at Sumbuk, who was present on the occasion as chief guest.Education is also a tools of empowerment and public Information Campaign is a mode of education the people about the schemes and programs being implemented by the government for their welfare and betterment. More the people becomes more transparent and policies and programmes are aptly implemented, he further added.
Block Development Officer Harka Giri resented on lackluster presence of people during the program during the program. If people are not interested to take optimum advantage of such program, than it cannot either be forced, he said.He was present o the occasion as special guest..Such an opportunity comes once and with luck of which the people failed to reap the benefit, he lamented.
Present as special guest Panchayat president Sarat Raj Pradhan informed thet MGNREGA is e being implemented with stress laid on construction of mini irrigation channel s and jhora training. Everyone has his equal shares of responibility towards the process of nation building and every individual should play his role in meaningful manner, He urged to the people.
During the three day program Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP) also had organized sit and draw, essay writing and calligraphy competition of the student on environment and SSA respectiely. Similarly, heartly baby show within the age group of 0-2 was also organized.
Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners, participants and self Help Groups, NGO's and other by the chief guest and special guest.
