A-Maze 2011 comes to Sikkim, time for some quizzing

15 March: A-Maze 2011 of QU has come all the way from Bangalore to add an extra magic to holding quiz competitions in college campuses.

QU, a concept of '24 Hours Inspired' and owned by Dewakar Basnet, a young entrepreneur from Pakyong started off with the first inter-college quiz held at Damber Singh College and Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy on March 13.

True to the objective of holding quiz competitions to make learning or gaining knowledge more exciting, the design of the competition is such that it includes all the students irrespective of their academic record and that is because the team of QU believes that education should be inclusive and not exclusive for the learners.

QU began its journey into the hearts of colleges across India in 2010. It has come to Sikkim with A-Maze 2011, which believes in getting the best out of one and all.

The young entrepreneur said that quizzing started as a project to bridge the gap between knowledge, attitude and skills. "Quizzing is an amazing way to share education," he said adding that thinking time is mainly spent in school and college and that aspect should be further cultivated ti a more stimulating one.

The competition at college level will soon be reaching schools too.
